ABOUT SMART WELL DESIGNERS

Smart Well Designers (SWD) is a startup team that has been founded by Hossein Ameri. Since 2019, SWD has begun its research as a multi-engineering scientific startup. The main goal of this team is to develop intelligent instruments that are installed in Iranian oil and gas wells for any performance at any stages of petroleum engineering such as Fishbone wells Drilling (Drilling Engineering), Sequential Optimum Production and Producing from Comingling Stack Pay (Production Engineering), Intelligent Waterflooding in Naturally Fractured Reservoirs and Controllable Injection Process for EOR (Reservoir Engineering), Productive Downhole Tests in Conventional Vertical Wells to Complex Multilateral Wells (Well Testing), Flow Profiling (Well Logging), etc.

SWD's management committee is a professional team that is handled by professors and high-skilled graduated students as its members:

FUTURE PLANS

Registration a knowledge enterprise in Petroleum Ministry Science and Technology Park
Developing the main plans to contract with NIOC and installing the tested apparatuses in oil and gas wells in the Iranian oil/gas fields

PRESENT PLANS

Collaborating with National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) and choosing a well in Gachsaran oil field as a candidate for smart completion and real platform
Holding different meetings with various startups teams and companies to distribute parts of the project as a great teamwork

PREVIOUS PLANS

Research on various types of intelligent tools and automation and instrumentation engineering
Attending an event that was held by Petroleum Ministry and making several meetings with several sublime managers in NIOC and introducing and developing the SWD's ideology to them

SWD ACHIEVEMENTS

SWD presented its idea and plans in "The Development of Innovation and Technology Ecosystem in The Oil Industry" event and between more than 5000 startups and companies, it has been a candidate to develop its plans and research as a knowledge enterprise in Petroleum Ministry Science and Technology Park. In order to show the potentials and capabilities of SMART WELL DESIGNERS team, SWD held several presentations with National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and its different subsidiary companies head managers in various B2B meetings.
